Our mission at Southwest Virtual is to create a friendly, professional, and safe atmosphere in which pilots can best serve themselves, and their passengers. We believe in going above and beyond the call of duty every day to ensure the best possible experience for our staff and customers.
Southwest Virtual first began sometime in 2016 when @Humberto founded the VA. @CaptJackson joined the team in September of 2016, eventually becoming CEO and relaunching it the next year in March 2017. The new VA was an instant success, because of its dedication to pilots, and also offering a passenger option, where you can book a virtual flight. It was the first system of its kind on the community and grew in popularity. Over the next year, the VA continued to grow and offer new features. In 2018, we added a Crew Center to provide pilots and staff with an easier way of flight validation, ranking, and tallying of flight hours. After almost two years in 2019, we updated our look and decided to give pilots a little more freedom. We are the only VA to let pilots create events for the VA, instead of having a staff member post them. We have always been big on pilot freedom, and we always will be. As we approach two years, we are grateful to be in service this long, and look forward to many more years.
